Bock Energietechnik invests in a production hall

Bock Energietechnik has expanded its production area by 400m² with the construction of a manufacturing area.
The grand opening took place on August 3 2019 at Bock’s Gösen, Germany site in the new hall.

Bock has also invested in a new spinner CNC milling machineand expanded its welding equipment in order to meet the increased demand of customers for electrode holders.

The family business develops and manufactures heating systems for melting units and all-electric furnaces. Its customers are mostly based in Europe but it exports and offers its services globally.

Bock Energietechnik also develops standard and custom-made electrode holders for the glass industry and manufactures them in-house.

Newly acquired sheet metal processing facilities also enable Bock to manufacture tailor-made cooling water systems and protective coverings for electronic components independently and flexibly for its customers.

Bock Energietechnik has been active in the glass industry for 40 years. The founder of the company is graduate engineer Werner Bock, who is the father of the current owner and who still gives his know-how to the business as a consultant.

Günther Bock, a state-certified glassworks technician, has managed Bock since 2016 and is actively supported by his wife Diana and 14 employees.

With the additional production areas and modern machines, Bock wants to offer its customers an even better service in the future.

The construction of the new hall will create more attractive jobs and increase Bock’s productivity.
